An Introduction to the Campaign for Justice:

The Campaign was created in 2004 to increase access to justice for low-income and elderly Maine people. It is an annual, statewide fundraising effort within Maine's legal community on behalf of six civil legal aid providers: Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic, Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project, Legal Services for the Elderly, Maine Equal Justice, Maine Volunteer Lawyers Project, and Pine Tree Legal Assistance. The Campaign replaced six annual fundraising efforts by these agencies. Consequently, attorneys and judges now receive only one request for annual support.
