About KIDS LEGAL

KIDS LEGAL is a statewide project at Pine Tree Legal Assistance Inc. Currently, we have 3 full-time staff attorneys and one paralegal. We have offices in Bangor and Portland. Because we are part of Pine Tree Legal Assistance, advocates from a local Pine Tree office may assist you under the KIDS project. You can contact us directly or through Pine Tree Legal Assistance.

At KIDS, we provide direct representation to individuals, consultations to community providers and group trainings on legal issues affecting low income children and youth in Maine, such as education, housing, public benefits, and family law matters.
